| I was born in Iceland and did medical studying in my city of birth: Reykjavik. I did neurosurgical training in Linköping, Sweden, and got my neurosurgical licence in 1996. In november 2004 I defended my thesis: "Changing strategies in the treatment of aneurysmal subarachnoid heamorrhage: Challenging the second bleed." Since march 2005 I have been working at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. During the last year I have been engaged in the NEUROSURGIC project, together with my colleague dr. Thomas Skoglund. | |
