MapTraining neurosurgeons in Africa – will you join us?

Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world, with a specialist density of one neurosurgeon per 25 million (3 in a population of 80 million). Patients with a brain tumour, intracranial haemorrhage, head trauma, or children with hydrocephalus have no treatment options within the country. We have started a Neurosurgical Training Programme in Addis Ababa. The aim of this training programme is educate new specialists and thus make Ethiopia self-supplied with specialists in Neurosurgery.

We need more teachers in this training programme and invite you to participate in this exciting venture. We guarantee you an experience you never will get anyplace else.

We can offer you free air fare (economy) and free lodging and food, but no salary.
